“Our Isles and Oceans Ltd is a partner of Clipper Ventures and is the only British entry in the 2023/24 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
Founded and based in Scotland, Our Isles & Oceans Ltd is all about portraying everything that is “great” about Great Britain on the global stage the Clipper Race provides. .
ABOUT CLIPPER ROUND THE WORLD YACHT RACE
A global race with global reach and global coverage.
Founded by Sir Robin Knox Johnson, the first person to sail solo, non-stop around the world, The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is a unique event. Anyone, even if they have never sailed before, can join the adventure as the identical race yachts are crewed by amateurs with a professional skipper and first mate.
The race has 9 legs which include 6 ocean crossings and over 40,000 nautical miles of racing. It visits all the continents on the planet except Antartica.
Leg 1 leaves the United Kingdom and heads to South America
Leg 2 is South America to South Africa
Leg 3 is South Africa to West Coast Australia
Leg 4 is Wet Coast Australia to East Coast Australia
Leg 5 heads from Australia to Vietnam
Leg 6 leaves Vietnam and heads to China
Leg 7 leaves China and crosses the North Pacific to West Coast USA
Leg 8 is West Coast USA to East Coast USA via the Panama Canal
Leg 9 is East Coast USA back to the United Kingdom

Any after tax profits of Our Isles & Oceans Ltd are donated to Our Isles & Oceans SCIO, a charity set up to help young people struggling with the day-to-day.
