Applications have opened for Spring 2022!

Our Isles and Oceans are now accepting applications for individuals to become Our Isles and Oceans Ambassadors and to join our community. Our organisation’s key aim is to create a vibrant community of likeminded people, providing personal and professional opportunities and creating life changing moments for young people. After two years of the global pandemic, continuous lockdowns, the consistent barrage of bad news, the climate crisis and uncertainty about the future, we launched Our Isles and Oceans to promote positivity, opportunity and unity.

We are now ready to welcome a further group of young people to our community, with their key opportunity being a five day sail up the West Coast of Scotland. This programme will be taking place in April/May 2022 and our ambassadors will once again be taught to sail by world-class sailors on a Clipper 68 ocean racing yacht.

Becoming a member of the community doesn’t stop there, we work closely with a unique array of partners to create projects and programmes for our ambassadors to take part in, to grow their professional opportunities and to build their confidence and skills in preparation for the current climate’s tough marketplace. We want to help those significantly affected by lockdown and the pandemic, and those that might never have the opportunity to sail onboard a 68ft racing yacht (or any yacht in general!) We can’t wait to hear from you.
